Monarchs Clip Saints in Tight Contest

In baseball, each game is unique. This one was no different.

London Monarchs starter Jose Rideout turned in a top-notch performance against the Trois-Rivieres Saints at Blue Wings Ballpark. The result was a win for the Monarchs, 5-1. The Monarchs, now 7-3, have been playing some good baseball.

The Monarchs got a big at-bat from first baseman Jason Lee. For the game, Lee was 1-4 with a home run and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. In the top of the eighth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 2nd home run of the season gave London a 4-1 lead.

"I just try to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Lee.
