| Heat Continue Hot Start to Season With Win | A 4-RBI performance from Terry Blumberg, who is the 5th-best prospect in the Heat organization, helped the Kelowna Heat beat the Calgary Outlaws, 11-8. Curt Burton got credit for the win, improving to 1-0. He allowed 1 run on 1 hit in 3.2 innings. Kelowna is off to a hot start at 6-3.
Andrew Bailey, who is rated as the 44th best prospect by BNN, aided the Kelowna cause with a run-scoring walk in the bottom of the sixth. For the game, the catcher drew 3 walks in 5 trips to the plate.
