Bates, Saints Wallop Heat

The Trois-Rivieres Saints used an offensive barrage to beat the Kelowna Heat, 10-1, at Blue Wings Ballpark. Gerald Bates led the way, going 2-for-4 for Trois-Rivieres. Trois-Rivieres, at 8-0, is off to a blistering start.

Bates had a key at-bat for Trois-Rivieres early in the game. With the bases loaded, he hit a grand slam home run. It was his 3rd home run of the season and gave Trois-Rivieres an early 4-0 lead.

"We did a lot of things right," said Bates.
