| Capitals Bridle Legends, 4-3 | Victoria starter Angel Pagan had a strong outing against the Saskatoon Legends at Ballpark of Red Deer College. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 4-3 win. The winning pitcher was Pagan, now 1-0. He tossed 5.1 innings of 3-hit ball, while walking 3 and fanning 4. The Capitals, with just their 2nd win so far in 2038, have yet to catch fire.
Bobby Howatt, who is the 6th-best prospect in the Capitals organization, aided the Victoria cause with a 2-run double in the top of the fifth. For the game, the first baseman was 3-5 with a double and 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
"We'll pop the top on a cold one and get back to work tomorrow," Howatt said.
