| Meilleur goes 3-for-5, Leads Outlaws to Win | Doug Meilleur made an impact in the 10-8 Calgary win over Saskatoon. Meilleur, who is the 9th-best prospect in the Outlaws organization, was 3-5 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3. Isaiah Wynter, credited with the win, is now 1-0. He allowed no runs on 4 hits in 5.1 innings. Tom Dukeshire, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 1st save.
Pat Inglis, who is rated as the 7th best prospect by BNN, chipped in for Calgary with a 2-run home run in the top of the first. For the game, the third baseman had 3 hits in 6 at-bats with 1 home run, 2 singles, 2 runs scored, and 2 runs batted in.
"The boys were really swinging the bats today," winning manager Kiminobu Kamida said.
The Outlaws, with just their 1st win in 4 games, have played uninspired baseball so far.
