| Capitals Continue Skid Thanks to Tishler, Monarchs | Tom Tishler made an impact in the 8-1 London win over Victoria. Tishler, who is the 2nd-best prospect in the Monarchs organization, went 3-5 with a home run, 2 singles, and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 3 times and driving in 3. J.D. Haner, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 1st save. The Monarchs raised their record to 4-0.
Jason Lee, who is the 8th-best prospect in the Monarchs organization, aided the London cause with a 2-run home run in the top of the first. For the game, the first baseman went 1 for 5 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
"This isn't football or hockey where you can overwhelm your opponents," Lee told the London Gazette. "Everyone gets 27 outs and we happened to make the most of them."
