| Monarchs Bang Out 7-3 Win Versus Niagara | The London Monarchs defeated the Niagara Stars, 7-3, at Hatchets Ballpark today. Leading the charge for London was shortstop Herman Jones. He went 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3. London, at 2-0, is off to a blistering start.
Dave Cote, who is rated as the 63rd best prospect by BNN, aided the London cause with a 2-run single in the bottom of the seventh. For the game, the center fielder went 1-3 with a walk. He drove in 2 runs.
