| Victory Over Volunteers Takes Missouri to 29-17 | Missouri Tigers starter James Sirico was in a rhythm all game. He led his team to a win over the Tennessee Volunteers, 4-1. The Tigers own a robust 29-17 mark.
The Tigers got a big at-bat from right fielder Ryan Humble. For the game, Humble went 2 for 4 with 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI. In the bottom of the first, with the bases loaded, he stroked a 2-run single. His 9th hit of the season gave Missouri a 2-0 lead.
In postgame comments to the Missouri Herald, Sirico said, "If the effort is there, the wins will come."
