| Sun Devils Roll Golden Eagles, 6-2 | The Arizona State Sun Devils grabbed a 6-2 win over the South Mississippi Golden Eagles at Ballpark of Aptos Hills-Larkin Valley College. Arizona State right fielder Jack Lindberg went 2 for 3 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3 to earn player of the game honors. Arizona State reliever Jon Moore was the winner. His record is now 2-1. Ramon Santiago took the loss. The Sun Devils bumped their record to 27-19 with this latest triumph.
Lindberg had a big at-bat with runners on 1st and 2nd in the bottom of the fifth inning, when he hit a 3-run home run. The Sun Devils went on to win.
"I was able to barrel up some pitches," said Lindberg.
