| Grays Bang Out 7-2 Win Versus Maple | Georgia played host to Maple at the friendly confines of The Death Star.
The Maple Marauders went down to defeat to Hector Valencia and his Georgia teammates. The final score was 7-2 in favor of the Grays. The Grays bumped their record to 44-30 with this latest triumph.
The Grays got a big at-bat from designated hitter Tadataka Yoshino. For the game, Yoshino was 1 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the sixth, with the bases loaded, he stroked a grand slam home run. His 13th home run of the season gave Georgia a 6-2 lead.
"I still think this team has room for improvement," Valencia told the Georgia Times.
