| Multi-HR Game for Anciso in 3-0 Win | Felix Anciso was instrumental in his team's 3-0 triumph over the South Carolina Gamecocks. The first baseman went 3 for 3 with 2 home runs, a double, and a walk for the Tennessee Volunteers. Tennessee reliever Jarrod Czerniak picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Mike Buckley shouldered the loss. Colin Bower recorded the save for Tennessee, his 10th of the season.
Anciso had a big at-bat with the bases empty in the bottom of the fourth inning, when he hit a solo home run. The Volunteers went on to win.
"It was a solid team effort and we'll try to keep this momentum going," Anciso told reporters after the game.
The Volunteers bumped their record to 24-21 with this latest triumph.
