| Golden Eagles Topple Green Wave with Late Rally | South Mississippi and Tulane duked it out at Berthoud College Grounds and the Golden Eagles came out victorious.
Adam Hatch added some punch to the South Mississippi offense, helping them outmuscle the Tulane Green Wave, 10-7. In the game, Hatch was 2 for 2 with a double, 2 walks, and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 2 times. South Mississippi reliever Ryan Dudzinski picked up the win, bumping his record to 3-1. Justin Tucke was collared with the loss.
Brody Scott aided the South Mississippi cause with a 2-run single in the top of the ninth. For the game, the center fielder went 2 for 5 with 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs.
"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Hatch. "And not try to do too much."
South Mississippi has now won 4 straight, while the Green Wave have lost 3 in a row.
