| Big Day by Lawson Ignites Hurricanes Win | Hurricanes shortstop Andy Lawson put his stamp on his team's 6-2 win over the Missouri Tigers. Lawson went 2 for 2 with a home run, a double, and 2 walks, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 2 for Miami in the contest. Dave Baker was the winner. Over 5.1 innings, he allowed 2 runs on 5 hits, with 1 walk and 7 strikeouts. Jesse Jensen closed the game out for Miami, earning his 13th save.
