| Kane Super -- No-Hits Miami | The South Carolina Gamecocks had a lot to celebrate today as 20-year-old hurler Pat Kane no-hit the Miami Hurricanes at Gremlins Ballpark today.
In an impressive outing that keyed the Gamecocks to a 3-0 victory, Kane had 12 strikeouts and surrendered 4 walks.
"He mixed his pitches well and hit his spots, plus he got a little help from above," said South Carolina manager Orlando Torres. "Pat really took it to another level today."
This year Kane has posted a 1-3 mark in 9 starts and has a 6.18 ERA. |
