| Multi-HR Game for Franklin in 8-4 Win | Wake Forest left fielder Mark Franklin had 5 ribbies while helping his team defeat the Missouri Tigers, 8-4. Wake Forest reliever Jamie Boula got the win, raising his record to 3-2. Kevin Seward was tagged with the loss. The last-place Demon Deacans are now 16-27, the Tigers 28-15.
Early in the game, Franklin had a 2-run home run for Wake Forest. It was his 12th home run of the season and put the Demon Deacans on top, 3-1.
"The boys were really swinging the bats today," winning manager Gilberto Morales said.
