Tigers Get Road Win, 7-4

Auburn starter Dan Jara pitched effectively against the Virginia Cavaliers at Ballpark of Redwood College. The right-hander led his team to a 7-4 win. The Tigers bumped their record to 22-21 with this latest triumph.

Nate Beattie aided the Auburn cause with a 2-run single in the top of the ninth. For the game, the first baseman was 1 for 3 with 2 walks, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.

"We'll grab a cold one tonight and go after another win tomorrow," Jara said.
