| Longhorns Get Close Win Over Aggies | Benefiting from Gary Kauffman's productive game, the Texas Longhorns downed the Texas A&M Aggies, 9-8. Kauffman was 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3 for the Longhorns. The Longhorns bumped their record to 22-21 with this latest triumph.
The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the ninth inning, when Texas designated hitter Justin Gladys, facing Alex Serrano, had a run-scoring walk. It gave the Longhorns the 9-8 win.
