| Titans Top Owls in Extras | The Cal State Fullerton Titans defeated the Rice Owls, 6-4. Earning player of the game honors was catcher Darwin Schocke, who hit 2 home runs. Cal State Fullerton reliever Jesse Fluegel got the win, raising his record to 1-0. Mason Green was tagged with the loss. The Titans bumped their record to 23-20 with this latest triumph.
The Titans got a big at-bat from first baseman Jimmy Patton. For the game, Patton was 2-6 with 2 singles and a walk. He drove in 2 runs. In the top of the 13th, with the bases loaded, he stroked a 2-run single. His 50th hit of the season gave Cal State Fullerton a 6-4 lead.
