| Reese Delivers Walk-Off Win for Bulldogs | The Mississippi State Bulldogs dealt the LSU Tigers a 8-7 loss at Crowley College Grounds. Cody Neumann was the star on offense. He went 3 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. Mississippi State reliever Jon Berni picked up the win, bumping his record to 4-2. Alan Brugger was collared with the loss. Mississippi State has now won 8 in a row.
Caleb Reese was the walk-off hero for Mississippi State. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Bulldogs pinch hitter hit a dramatic solo home run to send the teams home.
"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Neumann told the Mississippi State Gazette.
