| Wolverines Get Road Win, 6-3 | Michigan first baseman Chris Webster had 4 ribbies while helping his team defeat the Clemson Tigers, 6-3. Michigan reliever Grady Holland was credited with the win, to go to 3-0. Alan Looper took the loss for Clemson. The 9th-place Wolverines have won 4 in a row.
Webster contributed a big hit, a grand slam home run, for Michigan in the top of the third. With his team trailing 3-1, Webster took a forkball from Alan Looper and stroked the home run to left. His 4th home run of the season allowed the Wolverines to leap in front, 5-3.
"We did a lot of things right," said Webster.
