Cowboys Topple Bulldogs with Late Rally

The Oklahoma State Cowboys dealt the Georgia Bulldogs a 9-7 loss at Field of the Plunder. Devin Dean was the star on offense. He went 2-3 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Jake Drummond finished the game for Oklahoma State and earned his 13th save. Oklahoma State has now won 10 straight.

The Cowboys got a big at-bat from left fielder Xavier Ricks. For the game, Ricks was 1-5 with a home run, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. In the top of the ninth, with the bases loaded, he stroked a grand slam home run. His 11th home run of the season gave Oklahoma State a 9-7 lead.

"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Dean told the Oklahoma State Daily.
