Fouse Sensational for Cowboys

Mike Fouse was superb against Arkansas. The left-hander, who is tied for 3rd in the SBL in innings pitched with 45.2, had a fastball that was virtually unhittable at times. The result was a 4-2 Cowboys victory. The Cowboys, at 28-12, have now won 8 straight.

Fouse, a native of Newark, New Jersey, was dealing all game. He kept Arkansas hitters off-balance, while giving the Cowboys 6.1 quality innings. Fouse threw 84 pitches, allowing 1 hit and striking out 12.

"I just made my pitches," said Fouse, "and the ball kept missing the bat."
