| Horned Frogs Bang Out 8-5 Win Versus Fresno State | The TCU Horned Frogs defeated the Fresno State Bulldogs, 8-5, in Rod Dedeaux League action at Dingoes Ballpark, with TCU shortstop Adam Ashton named player of the game. Rob McCown was credited with the save for TCU, his 2nd of the season. The Horned Frogs bumped their record to 22-18 with this latest triumph.
Brad Bostelman drew 1 walk in 4 trips to the plate for TCU. The 18-year old third baseman had a key at-bat in the bottom of the sixth. With one out and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he broke a 3-3 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Bob Eggenberger. It was his 17th RBI of the season.
"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Bostelman said after the game.
