| Aggies Win at USC, 5-4 | The Texas A&M Aggies scored a 5-4 win versus the USC Trojans at Nesquehoning College Fields. Texas A&M pitcher Ron Mabie nabbed top player honors in the tight contest. Alex Serrano recorded his 4th save for Texas A&M. Even with the win, the Aggies have a dismal 11-27 record.
The Aggies got a big at-bat from shortstop Luke Butner. For the game, Butner went 2-2 with 2 singles and 2 walks. In the top of the fourth, with runners on 1st and 3rd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 24th hit of the season gave Texas A&M a 1-0 lead.
"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Mabie said after the game.
