| Toreros Lose to Tornadoes, 8-4 | Kansas City starter Magyver McKenzie pitched effectively against the Cabo San Lucas Toreros at Debris Field. The left-hander led his team to a 8-4 win. Nate Miller notched his 25th save in 25 chances. The Tornadoes bumped their record to 48-27 with this latest triumph.
Early in the game, designated hitter Bobby Douberly had a 2-run single for Kansas City. It was his 33rd hit of the season and put the Tornadoes on top, 2-1.
