| Extra-Inning Win by Ragin Cajuns over Green Wave | The Ragin Cajuns had to overcome a fine performance from Tulane pitcher Roy Schenk to grab a 3-1 win at Berthoud College Grounds. Schenk allowed no earned runs over 6 innings. The win was credited to Nick Hurst in relief. His record improves to 4-2. Justin Tucke took the loss. Mike Curtis recorded his 6th save for Louisiana-Layfayette.
The Ragin Cajuns got a big at-bat from center fielder Bill Miller. For the game, Miller was 1-4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the top of the tenth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 7th home run of the season gave Louisiana-Layfayette a 3-1 lead.
"Tough ballgame, tough loss," said Tulane manager Jonathan Ross.
The Ragin Cajuns bumped their record to 19-19 with this latest triumph.
