| Gators Win at South Carolina, 6-4 | The 2038 season is getting ugly for South Carolina.
Florida rode a decent outing from starter Jeff Brady to victory over the South Carolina Gamecocks at Scandals Ballpark. The final score was 6-4. The Gators bumped their record to 23-15 with this latest triumph.
The Gators got a big at-bat from shortstop Taylor Hillary. For the game, Hillary was 1-3 with a home run, a walk, and was hit by a pitch, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the top of the fourth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 3rd home run of the season gave Florida a 2-0 lead.
"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Brady said after the game.
