| Wolverines Fall to .500 After Loss to Volunteers | Tennessee rode a decent outing from starter Ben Lucas to victory over the Michigan Wolverines at Madera College Grounds. The final score was 8-4. Colin Bower recorded his 8th save for Tennessee. The Volunteers bumped their record to 21-17 with this latest triumph.
The Volunteers got a big at-bat from third baseman Jeremy Judd. For the game, Judd was 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the sixth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 7th home run of the season gave Tennessee a 5-2 lead.
"I tried to mix it up, keep them off balance," said Lucas.
