| Wiegand Delivers Walk-Off Win for Pioneers | The Midland Rockhounds got a superb performance from first baseman Elijah Brown. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Vancouver. The Pioneers won the game, 10-8. In spite of the loss, Brown was named the player of the game. He was 3 for 5 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 times and driving in 4. Vancouver is last in the Thurman Munson League Billy Martin Division with a record of 27-46.
Vancouver took a 10-8 lead on Rob Wiegand's 4th home run of the season. The 2-run home run came off Midland pitcher Austin Price in the bottom of the 11th.
"We take it day by day here," said Wiegand, "and today was a good one for us."
