Late Rally by Buckeyes Secures Win
The Buckeyes faced a stiff challenge from Tennessee pitcher Sean Stroman, but persevered to claim a win at Ballpark of Bloomfield College. The final score was 3-2. Stroman went 5.1 innings and allowed no earned runs. Ohio State reliever Chris Hicks was the winner. His record is now 2-2. Colin Bower took the loss. The Buckeyes bumped their record to 20-17 with this latest triumph.

The Buckeyes were down to their last out in the bottom of the ninth when right fielder Matt Brinkworth turned a 2-2 cutter from Colin Bower into a 2-run single. The walk-off single sent a roar through the crowd and gave Ohio State a thrilling 3-2 win.

"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Brinkworth.
