The Clemson Tigers and Kansas Jayhawks were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd at Magistrates Ballpark.

The Kansas Jayhawks downed the Clemson Tigers, 15-6, at Magistrates Ballpark. The Jayhawks were led by Eric Main, who captured player of the game honors. He slugged 3 home runs. He drove in 5 runs and scored three times. Rich Feaster was the winning pitcher. Over 5 innings, he allowed 3 runs on 8 hits, with 2 walks and 3 strikeouts.
