| Ragin Cajuns Pull Back to .500 With Win Over Beavers | The Louisiana-Layfayette Ragin Cajuns grabbed a 6-4 win over the Oregon State Beavers at Palisades Ballpark. Louisiana-Layfayette right fielder Evan Klingaman was 2 for 4 with a double and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 2 times to earn player of the game honors. Josh Rolling, credited with the win, is now 3-1. He allowed 1 run on 2 hits in 2.1 innings. Mike Curtis picked up the save, his 5th.
Joe Van Dyken, who is tied for 9th in the RDL in triples with 2, aided the Louisiana-Layfayette cause with a run-scoring single in the top of the sixth. For the game, the third baseman went 2 for 4 with 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs.
"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Klingaman said after the game.
The win boosts the Ragin Cajuns to 18-18. The loss puts the Beavers at 20-16.
