| Jayhawks Pull Back to .500 With Win Over Tigers | Kansas beat Auburn at Brutes Ballpark, escaping with a 3-2 win. The win in large part was due to catcher Chris Hamilton, who earned player of the game honors. He was 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk. Kansas has now won 3 in a row.
Eric Main, who is tied for 4th in the SBL in bases on balls with 31, aided the Kansas cause with a solo home run in the bottom of the third. For the game, the shortstop went 1 for 4 with a home run.
