Douglas Goes Off, But Cowboys Win

Indiana State designated hitter Jerry Douglas had a terrific game, but it still wasn't enough to get his team a win. Douglas hit 2 home runs, while adding 5 RBI and scoring twice, even as Oklahoma State beat the Sycamores, 13-11. Douglas was named the player of the game despite the loss. Jake Drummond earned the save, his 10th, for the Cowboys. Oklahoma State has now won 3 in a row.

In the top of the first inning, second baseman T.J. Rom came through big-time for the Cowboys. With Oklahoma State leading 1-0, he belted a 3-run home run.

"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Rom said after the game.
