Saunders Goes Wild, But Aggies Win
The Oregon Ducks got a sterling performance from shortstop Jim Saunders, but the Aggies still prevailed, 10-7. Saunders was named the player of the game in a losing cause. He was 3-4 with a home run and 2 doubles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 4. Texas A&M reliever Brian Keith picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Katsumi Kellogg was saddled with the loss. Even with the win, the Aggies have a dismal 9-25 record.
