Calhoun Excels, Miami Blows Out Indiana State

The Miami Hurricanes topped the Indiana State Sycamores, 13-3, in Skip Bertman League action at Gremlins Ballpark. The player of the game was Miami left fielder Jaden Calhoun. Miami reliever Jeremy Saltonstall was the winner. His record is now 3-0. Johnny Rymer took the loss. The Hurricanes bumped their record to 18-16 with this latest triumph.

Calhoun had a big at-bat with the bases loaded in the bottom of the third inning, when he hit a bases-clearing double. The Hurricanes went on to win.

"Win or lose, we pick each other up in this clubhouse," Calhoun told the Miami Citizen.
