| Commodores Win at Oklahoma, 3-2 | The Vanderbilt Commodores topped the Oklahoma Sooners, 3-2, in Skip Bertman League action at Biglerville College Fields. The player of the game was Vanderbilt pitcher Josh Kahlich. Justin Link picked up the save, his 9th. Vanderbilt, now 16-18, holds 14th place in the Ron Fraser Division.
Aaron Mathews, who is rated as the 67th best prospect by BNN, aided the Vanderbilt cause with a solo home run in the top of the fourth. For the game, the catcher was 1 for 4 with a home run.
"Win or lose, we pick each other up in this clubhouse," Mathews told the Vanderbilt Gazette.
