| Spicer 5-for-5 for Cougars | Sean Spicer exploded for a barrage of base hits today at Suns Ballpark.
The Washington State left fielder had a field day in the 12-9 triumph over the Houston Cougars, finishing 5-for-5.
"My hitting philosophy is simple," he said. "I focus on just seeing the ball and I try to get a good pitch."
Spicer must have focused at least 5 times and apparently got some good pitches, too, leading to one of his best days ever with the bat. Sean Spicer singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit a GRAND SLAM off Nick Sutton in the 6th, singled in the 7th and walked in the 9th.
Spicer is currently hitting at a .325 pace with 10 home runs, 33 RBIs and has scored 26 times. |
