| Multi-HR Day for Strouse as Cowboys Overpower Tigers, 8-5 | With right fielder Mike Strouse leading the charge, the Oklahoma State Cowboys defeated the Auburn Tigers, 8-5, at Zodiac Ballpark. Strouse, who is tied for 10th in the SBL in home runs with 11, was 2 for 4 with 2 home runs and 2 walks, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 4. The Cowboys bumped their record to 21-12 with this latest triumph.
It could have been a different outcome for Oklahoma State, had it not been for Xavier Ricks, the 19-year old left fielder . Ricks contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the second inning to put Oklahoma State up, 2-1.
