| Sycamores Win Thriller, 4-2 | The Indiana State Sycamores bested the Wake Forest Demon Deacans by a score of 4-2, with second baseman Eddie Fauls getting the main credit. On the day, Fauls was 4-5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Sycamores. Indiana State reliever Andy Anderson was the winner. His record is now 3-0. Ryan LeBlanc took the loss. The Sycamores bumped their record to 18-15 with this latest triumph.
Fauls had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the tenth. On a first pitch cutter from Ryan LeBlanc, he banged a 3-run home run to left-center, giving the Sycamores a 4-2 lead. It was the 3rd home run of the year for Fauls.
"Winning in the last at-bat, there's nothing else like it," said Fauls.
