| Razorbacks Continue Hot Start to Season With Win | South Carolina catcher Keith Waits had a terrific game, but it still wasn't enough to get his team a win. Waits was 3 for 4 with a double and 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once, even as Arkansas beat the Gamecocks, 7-4. Waits was named the player of the game despite the loss. Picking up the save was Drew Shelton, his 2nd. Arkansas has an impressive 22-10 record.
Justin DeBrino, who is rated as the 28th best prospect by BNN, aided the Arkansas cause with a 2-run home run in the bottom of the fourth. For the game, the right fielder went 1 for 4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2.
