| Rebels Come Back Late to Clip Golden Eagles | The Rebels grabbed a win, 3-2, at Ballpark of Storm Lake College, overcoming a fine effort from South Mississippi pitcher Ramon Santiago. Santiago went 5.2 innings and allowed 1 earned run. Ole Miss now has a 3-game win streak.
The Rebels got a big at-bat from left fielder Tony Hickman. For the game, Hickman went 1-3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the top of the ninth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 6th home run of the season gave Ole Miss a 3-2 lead.
"We'll relax tonight and enjoy this win," said Hickman.
