| Titans Pull Off Thrilling Win in Extras | The UCLA Bruins got a superb performance from pitcher Steve Tomasello. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Cal State Fullerton. The Titans won the game, 5-3. In spite of the loss, Tomasello was named the player of the game. He threw 6 innings of shutout ball. The winning streak has now reached 5 games for the Titans.
This game was not decided until late. With no one out in the top of the 11th, Phil Noel hit a sacrifice fly. The Titans took the lead, 4-3.
