| 7-2 Hurricanes Win over Yellow Jackets Evens Season Record | It was a good time at Gremlins Ballpark, where fans came to watch the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets and Miami Hurricanes get after it.
Miami catcher Kenny Berggren had a 3-RBI game, which helped his team beat the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, 7-2. Nate Ellefson picked up the win with 5.1 innings of work. He allowed no earned runs on 6 hits, while walking 0 and striking out 10. On the season, he is now 3-0.
Adam Mitchell, who is tied for 8th in the SBL in bases on balls with 24, aided the Miami cause with a run-scoring walk in the bottom of the fifth. For the game, the second baseman was 1 for 4 with a double and a walk.
"It's nice to come out on top today," said Berggren.
