| Cardinals Lose, 5-0, at Ballpark of Aptos Hills-Larkin Valley College | Arizona State Sun Devils starter Neil Millirons was in fine form against the Stanford Cardinals at Ballpark of Aptos Hills-Larkin Valley College, leading his team to a 5-0 win. Millirons, now 4-0, was the winner. In 6 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 5, walking 2, and allowing no earned runs. James Larson got the save, the 3rd for him this season.
Wes Williams's at-bat in the bottom of the fourth inning was a big one for Arizona State. Coming to bat with two out, the bases loaded and Arizona State leading 1-0, the center fielder reached on an error by the SS, driving in 1 run.
