| Gansemer, 49'ers Too Much for Golden Eagles | Long Beach State third baseman Joe Gansemer had a 3-RBI game, which helped his team beat the South Mississippi Golden Eagles, 15-5. The 49'ers bumped their record to 16-13 with this latest triumph.
Jamie Forsyth hit a 2-run triple off Jeremy Brown in the top of the first, which put the 49'ers in front, 2-0. Forsyth had 2 singles, in addition to the triple. For the game, he went 3 for 6.
