| Ruby Helps California Cruise to 11-3 Win | Erik Ruby knocked in 4 runs to help California beat Ole Miss, 11-3. Ruby produced 1 single, 1 double, and 1 home run. Jesse Jaworski earned the win to go to 3-2. He allowed 3 earned runs on 5 hits, with no walks and 7 strikeouts. The Golden Bears bumped their record to 17-12 with this latest triumph.
Ruby had a big at-bat with the bases loaded in the top of the eighth inning, when he hit a grand slam. The Golden Bears went on to win.
