Pett Hits 2 home runs in Razorbacks Win

Arkansas center fielder Joe Pett had a 3-RBI game, which helped his team beat the North Carolina Tar Heels, 6-3. William Nowlin earned the win to go to 2-0. He allowed 2 earned runs on 4 hits, with no walks and 8 strikeouts. T.J. Dyer got the save, the 9th for him this season.

Pett had a key at-bat for Arkansas early in the game. With the bases empty, he hit a solo home run. It was his 7th home run of the season and gave Arkansas an early 1-0 lead.
