| Cavaliers Lose, 4-2, at Field of the Plunder | Georgia Bulldogs starter Mike Hardy was in fine form against the Virginia Cavaliers at Field of the Plunder, leading his team to a 4-2 win. Georgia, at 13-16, occupies 17th place in the Ron Fraser Division.
The Bulldogs got a big at-bat from first baseman Jeff Feldman. For the game, Feldman went 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the fourth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 4th home run of the season gave Georgia a 2-0 lead.
"At the end of the day, it's always about your starting pitcher," said Georgia skipper Jorge Ayala.
