| Walk-Off Victory for Golden Bears Takes Record to 16-12 | The California Golden Bears downed the TCU Horned Frogs, 4-2, at Prisoners Ballpark. Joe Gamble led the way, going 3-for-5 for California. The Golden Bears bumped their record to 16-12 with this latest triumph.
Gamble had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the 11th. On a 1-2 fastball from Jim Fairchild, he banged a 2-run home run to right, giving the Golden Bears a 4-2 lead. It was the 3rd home run of the year for Gamble.
"I felt good up there," said Gamble. "I saw the ball well."
